Our Services – Lighthouse Family Centre
Supporting children, families, and the wider community
Fee: paying/chargeable holiday care being provided 6 weeks of the year
Early Years Provision
We offer a warm, homely environment for children aged 9 months to 5 years, with dedicated rooms for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our approach is rooted in emotional development, sensory play, outdoor learning and child-led routines that help children grow in confidence at their own pace.
Opening hours for early years provision:
8am-6pm 38 weeks of year
Youth Services
Our youth services provide a safe space for children and teenagers to connect, build friendships and take part in fun, enriching experiences outside of school. We offer sessions and holiday programmes that are welcoming, flexible, and designed to help young people feel empowered.
SEND & Inclusion
We are proud to be a truly inclusive setting, supporting children and families with SEND through sensory-friendly environments and trained, empathetic staff. Our team includes individuals with lived experience of neurodiversity, and we work closely with families to ensure every child feels understood and included.
Community Programmes
Our family-focused community programmes bring people together, reduce isolation, and create a space where everyone belongs. From stay and play sessions and SEN groups to community swap events and parent support, we provide consistent opportunities for connection, conversation and shared growth.

Lighthouse Family Centre is proudly based at Medway Community Centre in Worcester.
Our setting includes:
Dedicated baby, toddler and preschool rooms
A fully equipped sensory room
On-site kitchen for nutritious, homemade meals
A spacious community room for events and support sessions
Outdoor areas for play, gardening and woodland adventures
We proudly welcome families from across Worcester and the surrounding areas.
