What We Offer
Our community programmes take place during term time and are designed to bring people together, reduce isolation, and offer practical and emotional support.
We hold a variety of sessions throughout the week, including:
Stay & Play groups – friendly, informal sessions where parents, carers and children can play, socialise and build connections
Parent support sessions – a safe space to share experiences, seek advice and meet others facing similar challenges
SEND-friendly groups and sessions – inclusive, adaptable and welcoming to children of all abilities
Individual or small group support – for families needing more tailored help
Our programmes run primarily during term time. Sessions may vary throughout the year, so we always recommend checking our social media pages for the most up-to-date timetable and announcements.

Family Play & Connect
Mondays | 12:00pm–1:30pm | Babies to 4 years
Come along to our welcoming Family Play & Connect session at Lighthouse Family Centre, run in conjunction with Holy Trinity & St Matthew’s Church, Ronkswood, and featuring Mainly Music.
Suitable for families with babies and children up to 4 years old, these relaxed sessions provide an opportunity for little ones to play, enjoy music and interact with others while parents and carers meet, connect and build friendships.
We particularly encourage families who are thinking about joining Lighthouse Family Centre, as well as those simply looking for a welcoming place to belong, meet other families and receive encouragement and support.
Mainly Music
Mainly Music brings music, movement and interaction into the session, giving babies and young children an enjoyable opportunity to participate alongside their parent or carer.
Everyone is welcome. Come along, connect with other families and become part of our Lighthouse community.
Yoga Bears with Laura
Tuesdays | Ages 0–5 | Inclusive Session
Join us at Lighthouse Family Centre for Yoga Bears with Laura, an inclusive session created for babies and young children aged 0–5.
Yoga Bears provides a welcoming environment where children can enjoy movement, mindfulness and playful activities in a way that allows them to participate at their own pace.
With an inclusive approach at the heart of the session, children can explore movement and enjoy new experiences within a relaxed and supportive environment alongside others.
Inclusive & Welcoming
The session is suitable for children aged 0–5 and is designed to provide an inclusive experience for local children and their families.
These sessions are funded by The National Lottery, helping Lighthouse Family Centre provide accessible opportunities for children and families within our community.

Stay and Play group
Our sessions take place on Monday afternoons from 12:00pm to 1:30pm, providing a welcoming and relaxed environment for children to learn and play. A light snack will be provided at the start of each session to ensure everyone is settled and ready to enjoy the activities. The sessions begin on Monday 20th April, and we look forward to welcoming you.
Family Storytelling Sessions at Lighthouse Family Centre
Join us for our Family Storytelling Sessions at Lighthouse Family Centre CIC, where children and families can come together to enjoy engaging stories in a warm and welcoming environment.
Sessions run from 5:30pm to 6:00pm, starting on Monday 27th April and continuing on the first Monday of every month.
These sessions are designed to support communication, language development, and personal, social, and emotional growth through shared storytelling experiences. During the warmer months, sessions will take place outside, and everyone is welcome to attend.
