With the introduction of 30 hours working families funding from September 2025 for children aged from 9 months, more than ever before the choice of support for families is accessible. Families are able to start or return to work and are able to make sure their children are cared and educated whilst working providing a greater choice for all.

If my child turns 9 months old between / I can access 30 funded hours from / And I need to apply by:

  • 1 January to 31 March → Term starting on or after 1 April → 31 March

  • 1 April to 31 August → Term starting on or after 1 September → 31 August

  • 1 September to 31 December → Term starting on or after 1 January → 31 December

All working families funding codes must be applied. Codes need to be reconfirmed every three months.
Remember to log in to your childcare account on GOV.UK to check when your reconfirmation dates are so that you can renew your code on time. You will also receive reminders from HMRC when it is time for you to reconfirm.

If you aren’t able to renew your code by your reconfirmation deadline, you may be able to retain your child’s childcare place with us for a short period; this is known as a grace period. We will be able to tell you if you are in a grace period.

Fee structure

We try and keep a fee structure simple to understand whilst remaining within the government’s guidelines placed upon us as a provider of funded childcare.

The allocated funding rates have never covered costs, always giving a gap in the cost to the childcare provider to offer the place, this makes it an impossible challenge for us as a provider to offer any enhancement or consumables — this is why we have to charge for consumables and extras such as the end of term trip to The Three Counties Show for our school leavers.

We do not make a profit from these consumable charges; they cover what is provided and if you choose not to be a part of our consumable package all items must be provided by yourselves to every session with no exceptions.
